The Sox of Truth

Never underestimate a thorough novelty footie inventory. My current total is 146 footies, a tad over half of which still have mates. Some of these date back to 2008. I remember every sock, where it came from (friend or purchase), time of year, stuff that was going on at the time. I still miss sox that I never got pix of.

My collection is your basic retail inventory from a variety of places like Walmart, Walgreens, Target, K-Mart, Bass Pro, Lady Foot Locker, J.C. Penney's, and even a grocery store and gas station somewhere. One of these days I'm going online and getting even way cooler sox. I've seen everything from Mr. T to Scrabble to Seth Rogen to Superman (with cape)- you name it, it's on sox. Animals of every kind, celebrities, games, fast food, TV shows and movies... If I'm going to blow a thousand dollars on something frivolous in my life, I want it to be on sox.

If I had been smart and started a real inventory ten years ago (who knows what the internet will bring), I could conceivably have the biggest novelty sock collection on pinterest right now. I have owned and worn more cool fun sox than anyone else I've ever met in real life, and I take them very seriously. But since I never inventoried back then, I'm not going to start now. I was just curious today how many novelty footies I actually have since I tell people all the time that I have over 75 pairs of sox. Today I found out that I actually have 73 if I were to pair them all up, so I'm exaggerating only a tiny little bit.
